This is a change for those who have been at the studio for a long time! Show A will perform in two matinees—one on Saturday and one on Sunday—and Show B in two evening performances—one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
If you are new to the studio, haven't participated in a recital yet, or need a reminder of how this all works, let us make sense of it for you!
Every dancer in the studio will participate in the recital
We split our recital into two different shows, Show A and Show B. We do this so that each show is a reasonable length (approx. 2 hours). As shown above in the list of dates, each show is performed twice, so each dancer will get an opportunity to perform the same dance(s) twice.
If your child is in more than two (2) classes, or you have multiple children at the studio, it is almost certain they will be in both Show A and Show B, and it will be a very dance-filled weekend for your family! If your child is in two classes, we have tried our best to put them in the same show, but with 240+ students and 60+ dances between both shows, this is very complicated.
