Mission Statement

Our dream is for our campers to be the next generation of musicians, actors/actresses, and dancers, and that they will use their talents and skills to make a positive difference in the community.

Our goal is to have our campers feel liberated in their lives through their experience in the arts. We want them to find their own creativity, their own means of expression, their own voice, and ultimately, themselves.

Our approach is dynamic, focusing on the acquisition of skill sets such as: self-confidence, voice projection and public speaking, creativity, team work, positive attitude, focus, stress management, memory strengthening, fitness, social interaction, investigation of human behaviour, and of course, building relationships.

Our hope is that Theatre Arts Camp will inspire all our participants to grow and explore, leaving them warm memories of energy, fun, laughter, and friendship that last well beyond our time together.

Camp Format

Campers will be split into two groups and experience daily classes in singing, dancing, and acting. Each activity will be geared towards the weekly theme, with a focus on our performance on Fridays at the Academy Theatre. Campers will also have the opportunity to take part in crafts, creating programs, and field trips on theme days. Be sure to look for your child's headshot and resume posted at the theatre on show day!
