Alana Collver

Alana has been a Student of the Lindsay Dance Studio since she was 3 years old and began assisting Mrs. Mackey when she was 12. Alana began teaching Jazz and Ballet when she was 15, until she graduated from High School. She is a graduate of York University (BFA – Dance) and the National Ballet School of Canada (Teacher Training Program). Alana was one of only 9 candidates from across the country to be accepted into this prestigious program. It was at the National Ballet School that Alana also completed her I.S.T.D. Associate Teaching exam in the field of National Dance, as well as the Advanced 1 National Examination (commended). 

Alana has achieved her RAD Advanced I Ballet (Merit) in addition to her ISTD Advanced 2 Modern (Distinction). While at the National Ballet School, Alana was also fortunate to learn the I.S.T.D. Cecchetti Ballet Syllabus, where she achieved her Advanced 1 (commended).

As well as her continuing work with the LDS, Alana is both a director and choreographer with Triple Threat Theatre and has spearheaded many productions at the Academy Theatre in Lindsay. Most notably, "Les Miserables," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Oliver," "Best of Broadway 1-4", and "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown."
